Feed & Reach South Africa Update 1: Hungry For More…

This past December we had awesome opportunity to partner with our friend Pastor Joesph Zondi in Johannesburg South Africa. We were able to help provide a hot meal, love, and ministry to every person in attendance.

We work with various low income area of South Africa to provide financial support for access to daily meals, job training, and education for all children. We partner with local teams that know the area and culture and have our own local team member onsite to ensure our resources are used as intended.

On this particular day we planned to meet Pastor Zondi at a meeting site and say hello to the over 100 local residents of the area. Pastor Zondi’s team prepared food for the group and DJ was asked to share a brief word of encouragement and prayer. What we didn’t expect was the hunger for more than food, but for more of God. Lines quickly formed to receive prayer from DJ, Denice, and the team. We spent over 2 hours listening to individual stories, sharing embraces, and praying for God to move in their lives.
