DJ Bagwell

DJ Bagwell is a pastor, speaker, and international author (The Brand New You & Kingdom Confessions For Men). DJ has a passion to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ in practical teachings and illustrations.

Growing up as a, “pastor’s kid”, DJ sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and did just about any other job the church needed. From an early age, he learned the importance of service, honor, and responsibility to the work of God. As DJ got older he developed a gift for leadership and was rapidly promoted to leading Men’s Ministry at both Center For Hope Ministries in Bloomington, IL and then later called to serve as Men’s Ministry Pastor at CityLife Church in Tampa, FL. DJ & his wife Denice were also called on to serve as Marriage Ministry leaders at both church locations. Eventually following in his father’s footsteps, DJ began serving as the East Lake Campus Pastor with CityLife Church in 2021. In addition to his work as Pastor, DJ still serves as Share Hope Global co-founder, providing relief in underserved communities and faith-filled resources in form of books, podcasts, and video.

Most, if not all of DJ’s time in ministry, he worked bi-vocationally. DJ brings over a decade of business and leadership experience, having worked for multiple, multi-billion dollar international corporations. As a former scholarship football player, DJ graduated with academic honors from Western Illinois University with a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelors in Communication/Marketing.   

DJ, his beautiful wife Denice, and their children, Ivana, Gianna, and Elijah currently reside in Tampa, FL.
